At Nature’s Way, we strive to help people live their best lives using the gifts of nature. To live up to that vision, we believe we need to care for the planet and people that provide those gifts. Our current initiatives help us recycle more, support communities, source sustainably, and keep our manufacturing processes focused on limiting our footprint.
In April 2019, Nature’s Way will be unveiling our new bottles on our herbal line. These bottles are made with 97% post-consumer recycled materials.
What this means:
1% of annual Nature’s Way Ultra Pure sales are donated to environmental causes worldwide through 1% for the Planet, an alliance of businesses committed to creating a healthier world.
At Nature’s Way, we source botanicals from the places they grow best. Sourcing botanicals from native climates ensures authenticity and quality and it keeps local farmers and suppliers employed. By going directly where herbs grow best and supporting the people who grow them best, we can support local communities and small family businesses (that have often spanned generations).
We bring nature’s gifts to you – so we want to make sure we keep these gifts healthy for generations. A big part of that is contributing to less landfill waste. Over the last several years, we’ve made a conscious effort to waste less. In total, our waste is down 14% year-over-year and we divert over 70% of our waste to recycling facilities. We’re always making improvements to impact the earth.
